Hi, Iā€™m Jordan!

Austin, Texas

Prior to general assembly training, customer success, and support built my foundation in understanding the customer journey. The start of my professional creative career began as a Political Science Supplemental Instructor. Hosted office hours, gave lectures, and made trainings for topics like turning how a bill becomes a law concept into a hot potato and musical chairs game.

Post graduation, working for Apple I developed my customer support, experience, and training foundation. From one to one to group trainings to troubleshooting devices, I learnt how to empathize with the user to understand their pain points and come up with practical, creative solutions. Here I developed repair process training, creative media support documentation, and more.

I applied this foundation to Chowbotics, where I was thrown into the world of startups and had to learn a salad-making robot quickly. I made service guides, how-to manuals, menus, planned deployments, quality-tested products, managed accounts, and much more. Here is where I learned how to work with all levels of an organization and make a new product become intuitive to any user in mind.

Now I have studied UX research and design and have been able to apply my past skills to a more applicable field where I can truly create new ideas to improve customer experience through the design process. I love finding out how things work and why people enjoy the things they do. I want to work on meaningful products and services that help people.

In my free time, you may find me at a concert, walking my dog, or doing a DIY project.
